Rotary Gate Systems is constantly evolving as we get feedback from our customers. While we continue to manufacture our flagship SL-RD rack drive slide gate operators, we understand that not every installation is right for it. For those that need more flexibility, but still want the ease of installation that RGS operators offer, we're now offering our SL-CD roller chain drive slide gate operator.
With two different capacities to choose from, the SL-CD series will accomodate any gate installation, new or existing. This operator mounts exactly the same as our SL-RD series, directly to the gate support post, so no need to pour additional concrete or be concerned with cracked, or damaged pads on existing installations.
We use industry standard #40 series chain so retro-fitting an existing gate with the SL-CD is a breeze and new installations require nothing more than a drill and/or tap to bolt to the post. Adjusting the chain tension is accomplished with standard chain bolts, with additional adjustment by sliding the operator in or out in relation to the gate for fine-tuning and alignment.
The unit comes with the operator, 20' of #40 chain, control box, built-in battery backup, limits, (2) 12v 5AH batteries, (2) chain bolts and (2) chain brackets.
All RGS operators, including those already installed, using the APeX controller are compatible with the Rotary IQ remote diagnostic system.
